Active Recall
This exercise is an 'active recall' activity and serves as the final test of the lesson. It will provide feedback on your pronunciation and translation skills.
With the feedback, you will be able to identify which areas need more practice to improve your pronunciation and translation skills.
Part 1
1
Start the audio recording function on your device.
2
Start the timer (optional).
3
Translate the sentences into Spanish out loud and record your voice using your audio recording device.
- Take your time.
- Articulate each word deliberately.
- Focus on pronouncing each word clearly.
- Allow pauses between words.
- Remember that the goal is to improve memory recall, not pronunciation speed.
4
Stop the timer after translating the last sentence (if applicable).
5
Stop the audio recording function on your device.
6
Record the elapsed time (if applicable).
- This recorded time will be your baseline time.
- You will need to beat this baseline time in each subsequent exercise.
7
Click the "translate" button and display the sentences in Spanish.
8
Review your audio recording to ensure an accurate Spanish translation, as well as proper pronunciation and enunciation of every word.
9
Next step:
- If all the sentences you recorded were correctly translated into Spanish and each word was pronounced and enunciated correctly, you can proceed to the next lesson.
- Otherwise, continue working on this lesson, focusing on improving the pronunciation of the sentences or words.
