Lesson 2: Me Gustaría

PART 1

To successfully complete this lesson, you'll need to memorize the vocabulary word list in the following section:

It's important to have the entire vocabulary word list in this section memorized first!

PART 2

Phrase 1:

Me gustaría ir al supermercado.

I would like to go  to the  supermarket.

Phrase 2:

Me gustaría ir a la panadería.

I would like to go to the bakery.

NOTE: In phrase 1, notice the word al. The word "al" is a contraction of "a el" and must be used with the masculine article "el" preceeded by "a". The exception is in the case of "a él" (to him).

PART 3

Phrase 1 divided into sections:

• Me gustaría = I would like.
• ir = to go.
• al = to the.
• supermercado = supermarket.

Phrase 2 divided into sections:

• Me gustaría = I would like.
• ir = to go.
• a = to.
• la panadería = the bakery.
