PART 2

Phrase 1:

Me gustaría comprar la computadora el lunes.

I would like to buy the computer  on Monday. 

Phrase 2:

Me gustaría ir al parque el sábado.

I would like to go to the park  on Saturday. 

In English, we say that something will happen " on " a certain day. In Spanish, " el " (which translates to "the") appears before the name of the week.

Examples:

  • On Monday = El lunes.
  • On Tuesday = El martes.
  • On Saturday = El sábado.

In the Spanish language, the days of the week always start with a lowercase letter.

PART 3

Phrase 1 divided into sections:

  • Me gustaría = I would like.
  • comprar = to buy.
  • la computadora = the computer.
  • el lunes = on Monday.

Phrase 2 divided into sections:

  • Me gustaría = I would like.
  • ir = to go.
  • al = to the.
  • parque = park.
  • el sábado = on Saturday.
